Our Community Outreach Program equips youth and young adults 10years to 25years of age with tools they need to be productive citizens and decrease crime and imprisonment while providing the opportunity to be a part of community service on a regular basis. The program teaches students how to be team players and work together in unity with one vision to accomplish the mission. It allows students to be part of improving the communities they live in while building excellent rapport with organizations, businesses, and individuals. The students create innovative ideas that help fund projects within the communities by donating to charitable organizations.
The focus of the Community Outreach Program is to teach students how to build relationships, be positive team players, work in unity, improve the community they live in and give back to the community. Students are required to locate an agency or volunteer project that they are drawn to helping with their vision. Learning how to work as a team or alone can have its pro’s and cons. If a team is divided the vision can ultimately be destroyed or at a standstill and the mission not accomplished. The students must keep their team together to accomplish the mission of reaching out to the community and funding a charitable organization or volunteer project.
