Audition Prepration
Attire: Dress in a neat and casual manner that’s appropriate for your age. Make sure you have a clean and fresh appearance, and it’s best to avoid heavy makeup (or wear minimal makeup). Please keep your hair in its natural state, as this will help our judges determine your overall look. Please refrain from curling your hair if it’s naturally straight, and vice versa.
- Refrain from chewing gum during the audition.
- Wear modest clothing that fits you appropriately. If you choose to wear heels, ensure that you are comfortable walking in them.
- Avoid heavy makeup or wear minimal makeup if necessary.
- Please do not come to the audition with fear in your heart.
- If you have a headshot, please bring it along. It doesn’t have to be professionally taken.
- If you are a band, bring a copy of your instrumental performance on CD and ensure that each member has their instrument. Please note that we will not provide any instrument set-up.
- We advise that you have your name and contact information on your belongings as we will not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- All talents must be clean with no profanity.
- Dancers are required to bring a CD and have a one-minute routine ready to showcase in front of the judges.
- Singers, songwriters, choirs/groups, and musicians must be prepared to perform without music for one minute. You are welcome to bring your instrument.
- Comedians and poets will have one minute to present their talent during auditions.
- All talents must be clean with no profanity.
- If you are here for modeling, you will walk in front of judges and/or scouts.
- For acting, Genvien will provide a monologue for you to read according to your age.
